Michael
About the Job
White / Racially Ambiguous. Must be able to speak English. Estimated: 1-2 shooting days B-list Hollywood producer, early 50s. Entitled and oblivious to the architecture of power he is standing inside. A user of people and substances, Michael is charming in the way of men who don’t take no for an answer. A certain sweaty desperation hums underneath his behavior as someone who was once inside the Hollywood circle and now finds himself on the margins in a rapidly changing industry. He treats everyone in the room as either a resource or an obstacle. Michael is the film's moral throughline by negative example: a man who moves through women, debt, and other people's product without consequence... until he meets Miryo.
